Welcome and it sounds like your fork seals have been wrongly fitted  :confused1:

Have same issue last year. Kannerdog 1x1 have same issue too.
It was due to the quality of the seals (NOK). After that issue Kanerdog 1x1 find replacement by SKF. Works great. No more problem with front forks.

For example:

Quick update on fork seals.  Went back to garage and told the boss and mechanic that one fork seal was still leaking,  they immediately said that i needed a new stantion  as my one was damaged (if its damaged why didn't they tell me when they were doing the job first time).  i did not want to enter into a debate with them so left it at that.
i am going to buy 2 OEM seals and do the job right following GSXbarmy's thread, then i know its done right and if the stantion is damaged i can see it and do what is necessary myself.
it was only due to my impatientness  in wanting to get out and about that i paid someone to do it(i have always worked on my own cars myself).
so lesson learned.
thank you all for your advice and warm welcome.

My FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT ADVICE .... buy SKF seal kit, no original (NOK) or much worst (NAK)
My second advice .... no problem diagnose damage tubes (damage chrom on the functional surface of the gufer)
And can it leak due to so many worn out bushings too.
