My lovely blue and white late 2007 one of the last ones (before 2008 special edition)  :smitten: what do people think of the handle bar mirrors? Thinking of getting them and it has a Beowulf can on it, not heard it yet as it is to be delivered this week any reviews on the Beowulf?

Very smart looking machine Jed. Those Beowulf cans are good brand. Bar end mirrors - personal preference, some love 'em & others (like me) prefer the std albeit with extenders.

Bike Looks good.
I have the mirrors on the handle bars, didn't think I was going to like them but, once you get used to them ,they are just as good as standard mirrors.

Nice bike.
I had bar end mirrors and could actually see more with them - see what's going on behind me.

I went back to mirrors in the normal location though as the bar end ones made the bike just a fraction to wide for lane filtering....

Did you find out the hard 'expensive' way Mike?

That's actually a really good point VladTepes! Thanks a lot :)

That's the same as mine except the screen.  The Beowulf is great, plenty of noise when you open up the throttle but quiet enough to purr past a copper in traffic without attracting any attention.  As for the mirrors I still have them and they are fine.

Yes mate, you can borrow it anytime or I can bring it over and see how you are progressing with the rebuild.

Good bike !
Bar end mirrors - for me this looks good only in customs, cafe racers etc. But if You like them - put them on  :)

Rufus

I like bar end mirrors, find the rear view better BUT not good for traffic filtering.

That's great mate.  Let me know when your free. I'll be happy to show you around the old girl. She's nearly complete
