Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Mr Gee

It all is but damned expensive to go into the house, so didn't bother.

For the first time in years I'm having some company on my European excursion, so I took the Z1000 to met up with my mate Andy to talk through some final arrangements.

He's only gone and bought a new bike for the trip  :smile2:

I shall sit back & hold on while waiting for another excellent and informative tour write up, will be waiting with great interest if anything like previous trips  :notworthy:

Mr Gee

Fully concur with that statement.

Awaiting with baited breathe.

For todays little, sojourn I went to the home town, of Tommy Cooper.

While there, I visited the second, largest Castle in Britain. Only Windsor is bigger.

Caerphilly Castle.

That was just the outer, defensive wall. A second moat runs around inside of it and the castle buildings are inside of that.

Looking back and the inner moat.

The inner courtyard of the actual castle

Little bimble out today for a morning ride to a local bike meet, running much better now I have removed the faulty TRE, looking back I have never purchased a TRE so this must have been part of the loom when I started to restore this bike 8 years ago...where has that 8 years gone???

Such imposing structures even by modern standards. Wales must have been very popular 😎

Great pic's maybe we need a separate category of castles I've visited 🙏

Last Saturday we did breakfast first at The Little Black Pug Cafe @ MtGravatt incredible food and coffee offered with excellent service. For the locals it's next door to MtGravatt pub.
We headed up to MtGravatt lookout as one of our riders isn't from Brisbane. You can see our CBD in the background.
Then we crossed the city in what seemed like peak hour traffic to head to The Gap for a run over MtGlorious to the T-Intersection and back. It was quite a spirited ride both ways and certainly raised the adrenaline rate on a few of our older riders.
On the way back it rained so I pulled into the Normanby Pub and had a win on the pokies 🥳🥳💰💰.

Mr Gee, nice ride to the home town of Tommy Cooper. I bet you got there 'Just like that'!
There's always room in the world for a bit more tolerance and kindness.
