Wasnt going to mention, but i am. Not much riding next couple of months. My Wife has a mouth cancer into her jaw. Docs cant operate but confident radiation will work. So thats our mission, 7-8 weeks, 5 days p/w.Only a 50k return trip but traffic can be hell. Not sad or unhappy, is what it is. Wish us luck and sorry to burden you blokes with our problem.

Pommeroy

Sorry to hear that Grog, but it's good to hear the docs are confident about the radiotherapy. Understandable that it's going to be your focus for the next wee while...look after yourself too and keep in touch on here. It's no burden to us.
There's always room in the world for a bit more tolerance and kindness.

The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

I wish and hope for gradual improvement.

Wishing Mrs. Grog and you all the best, seriously no burden mate, thx for sharing.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

KiwiCol

Absolutely best of luck with the treatment Grog & Mrs Grog. Things like this are personal, but if you feel like sharing, I feel I speak for all of us here, you're most welcome to, we're here for ya.  :onya:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Boa

Hoping for the best for Mrs Grog. At least they're confident with the treatment.

The stress must be awful for both of you.

Sharing "this stuff" on a forum always leaves me with mixed feelings.

A) You need / want to vent with possible like minded people

B) You want to have a bike related happy place.

Hope the docs are correct. Fingers crossed indeed  :onya:

No harm in sharing.
You are a valid part of this forum.
