You live in a fantastic country Chris, we came over many years ago and made plans to relocate but circumstances stopped that, but while we were over there we had a fantastic time.

40 years in the UK, 22 years in AU.

I appreciate everything that was good about the UK, loved the castles and history, the far far better bike scene with its shows, shops, bike meets, rallies, racing, tracks etc etc. A beer in a 300 year old pub before jumping on the ferry to France. I had some great times there.

AU suits me better now. Short mild winters where I am. A far better standard of living, no way could I do what I do living in the UK. The UK has a lot of amazing stuff, but it comes at a cost.

I've ridden every week this year, can't remember seeing rain, none of my bikes have had or needed an MOT, the equivalent to 93p ltr for fuel yesterday, Government chipped in to me building a house with a log burner and no water tanks. A new build house on acreage is half the price of a house in the city, fresh sea food, fruit etc don't get shipped from the other side of the world...

Shame I'm 2 and 1/2 hours away from a tyre fitter or mechanic I can trust!

33 yrs in the UK 33 yrs in Oz. I arrived in Oz at age 26.
I now spend at least 6 months and 1 day in Oz the rest in the UK.
A good life on both sides.
