Had a walk around town this morning and had a bacon and egg sandwich.
Nice day for mid Winter.   17 degrees C, dry and sunny.

Saw this at the shops today...

Took me a minute to work out it was a 650 twin Lam's learner bike.  When I googled it it also told me there's an 1100 version.

I like the fact it takes the nice H2 SX SE luggage that I like and has lots of other features including a centre stand, cruise control etc. The prices are more than I'm spending in the near future but it might make a good old man's bike one day.

Reading a few reviews they say the similar GSX-S makes a bit more power and is a bit faster, but the Kawasaki is better equipped and nicer to cover distance on.

GT380, GT550, GT750, GS750.

The triples had been restored, the GS looked more like a very nice survivor. I think there's a sad story behind them, something about going up for sale due to the owner passing away.

I think there's shop will be selling them on behalf of who ever now owns them. From what I heard it was an ex-customer who passed away.

They looked nice, but not really anything I'd want to spend money on. With the exception of the DRZ I try and stick to 16v iL4's.  Nice to see such tidy bikes, a bit of Suzuki history.

Irish might like to take a look . . .

Col it's time for me to off load all my crap and go on a world tour and that won't be on a motorcycle.

I just saw a photo from 12 years ago.

The cation said I'd done 3,500K's since putting it back on the road having bought it as a crashed project.

Looks like it has the KOSO dash, jack up blocks, Pazzo levers, Renthal 789's,  etc I fitter, but still has the damaged headlight. (Bike had been up the road on its left hand side)

Apart from minor stuff like it now has black shortie levers, it wears a spare ET / EX headlight, a rack, and a Powerbronze single seat cowl, pretty much how it looks now.

Saw my grandfather´s 50cc Portuguese production motorcycle, rusting away. He still rode it until his 80 y.o. in 1999.Have to decide on what to do with this, and other stuff.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Jeykey, lot of work to restore, stick it on EBay,IMO

Tony Nitrous

I'd probably give it a wash, a coat of CRC and put it on a shelf.
Folk buy art, paintings, statues etc, I'd rather look at a bike that was certainly a bit different to every other one I see and it's nice it has a family connection. Even if you aren't restoring it you are still preserving it for the future.

I´ve  got an emotional connection with it, got transported on it when I wasn´t even able to ride alone. But life has it´s ways and not able to restore it at the moment. I´ll try to sell it here.

Yesterday. Busy day, started at six a.m.

Saw Notty. Saw his new bike.  :smitten:

Saw my mate in Morriston hospital. Since June, he's died eighteen times and been revived, breaking his ribs, in the process. Had three operations and now, has a pacemaker.  :boogie:

Took him home and Saw the Welsh Valleys on the way. Saw the sea.  :clapping:

Didn't see much, on the way home, as it was pitch black. Arrived one thirty a.m  :onya:
