These boots look a bit like my Alpine Star touring boots (without all the buckles and shit), the foot and side protection looks very decent.  My Alpine Stars are some of THE most comfortable boots Ive ever had.  However I don't need size 49 width 4E, just std 11's for me.  would be very interested to hear how they go for you.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Hooli

I had some Hein Gerke (was that how it was spelt?) boots like that, they were way too wide & high over the instep for me. I thought the buckles would adjust it enough but it just cracked the leather. So they should fit a weirdo with extra wide feet if they're the same.

All those straps will come in handy for strapping the sheep into.  :stir:  :happy1:

Quote from: KiwiCol on Sunday, 21 June  2026, 12:14 PMWell, I brought some boots, online!  They're supposed to be the widest fit they do, and are adjustable all over the place, so, hopefully this time I get a pair that actually fit my hoof.  Here is a link to what they are, https://www.motoxparts.co.nz/forma-adventure-riding-boot-black  Supposed to be flexible and comfortable to walk around in.  My concern is a fat toe area & getting the boot under the shifter smoothly.  I needed size 49 at a minimum, so these ones are what I could get.

Can't comment on the fit as I have skinny feet but those are some of the most comfortable boots you'll find. Terrible as the adventure boots they claim to be (very minimal protection) but that shouldn't be an issue for you.

I think those adjuster buckles will be very handy, the boot opens up wide to drop your foot in then those clamp things close it, once you've adjusted then to where they need to be for you.  So I read somewhere anyway, never had boots like that, so can't say for sure.

Well, these arrived on Friday and were on their way back the same day. I couldn't get my foot into them past the heel / tendon area, it just would not go in, even wide open, so back they went.  That's the 2nd time that has happened buying boots online, went from a 48 touring boot to a 49 extra wide and I can't get into them!  $556, I won't do that again, I have to try them on, even when by all accounts they should fit easily.

Think a trip to the big smoke required Col.A must to try your boots on.

Tally

Koyo bearings bought £52,99 for front, rear and sprocket with seals, happy with that :onya: .

Tally

And to go with bearings, a set of bearing pullers.

Hooli

I bought internal bearing pullers once, I still find a stick & a hammer easier & faster.

KiwiCol

I brought a set of bearing pullers too, never used them, but they're there if I need them.  Like 80% of the stuff in my garage, used once and there should I ever need it again. Someone will get a treasure trove of gear when I pop me cloggs, wife knows nothing about the gear (and doesn't want to) she'd happily part with the whole lot for a grand!
