That's a reasonable price for a slightly tatty one here. I'd never pay the £4-5k some people ask for what's just an old bike, no matter how much I like riding them.

Nothing but looking. My 6 pot calipers have one piston dragging, totally overhauled, they work perfectly but drags pushing around. Next is 4 pots, is pic the correct type I need??. Only 15k bike, bolts n paint👍

My Mrs is the bread winner in this house.
We agreed on two rules ages ago.

# I need to buy it with my own money / pension / savings.
# It needs to fit in my shed (so I built a bigger shed)

We are both happy with that.

The last 3 or 4 bikes she's either told me to go and get them, or asked if I'd regret it if I didn't.

I thought I'd rise her blood pressure buying the DRZ but she just said do it whilst you still can.

Damn it, you got a reasonable one.  :onya:  :clapping:

A rare and valuable find.  :smitten:

Didn't exactly, buy them today, as they were on order but the plug caps, plugs, air and oil filters, arrived ready to service the 14.  :onya:

Then I can get on with test riding her, in pursuit of that pesky, intermittent fault.

been looking as well. Still not happy with overhauled front 6 pots.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Well, I brought some boots, online!  They're supposed to be the widest fit they do, and are adjustable all over the place, so, hopefully this time I get a pair that actually fit my hoof.  Here is a link to what they are, https://www.motoxparts.co.nz/forma-adventure-riding-boot-black  Supposed to be flexible and comfortable to walk around in.  My concern is a fat toe area & getting the boot under the shifter smoothly.  I needed size 49 at a minimum, so these ones are what I could get.

Similar. Dragged my Gen-1 Busa out of storage. Callipers dragging again. Not spending another cent on them. I'll drop them in the bin and either fit 4's, or try radial calipers adapters.

Can't comment on the fit as I have skinny feet but those are some of the most comfortable boots you'll find. Terrible as the adventure boots they claim to be (very minimal protection) but that shouldn't be an issue for you.

Good lookin boots Col, no shops near you to try some on? Agree Tony, not spending any more time/money on 6 pots. Not easy finding 4 pots. List to buy included 2003 gsxr750, bloke had some, says 100mm bolt spacing, 14 is 63, webike want a fortune, most UK are corroded badly. Ill try local wreckers tomorrow. Radials too dear for me.

I like the look of forma boots but they are too wide at the top for my skinny legs, looks like I'm wearing wellies.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I'm guessing a 4E width fitting as well Col. Perhaps you could post a pic wearing them so people understand your requirements 😳 ✅

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

KiwiCol

I'll see, I might take a pic of me wearing them, But you'd only see a lower leg in a boot, can't see there's much point in that.   Hmmm, for scale I could sit on the Black K6 or stand beside it, that might be better. :rofl2:

I think those adjuster buckles will be very handy, the boot opens up wide to drop your foot in then those clamp things close it, once you've adjusted then to where they need to be for you.  So I read somewhere anyway, never had boots like that, so can't say for sure.
