Even petrol cars have used artificial engine sound played inside for many years. Kia Stingers had a nice growl inside from the speakers that was connected electronically to the bikes acceleration.

Electric cars, or bikes, can sound however you want them too.

I drove Audi diesel maybe 15 yrs back, had full surround F1 sound, even vibrated seats etc. Can remember being quite amazed, never knew of it.

338K's, 210 miles this morning.

Wasn't great.  No real dramas but if I'd stayed in bed I wouldn't have missed much. Glad to be home.

Consider me as proof that age and wisdom do not always walk hand in hand !

Thats the closest I've been to being upside down with a bike on top of me in a long while !

Looks fairly deep sticky mud where ever you were.    What'd ya do?  Nearly flip if doing a wheelie?
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Really boggy muddy back road. Greasy layer on a hard base.
Both ends were higher than the middle so once I went in it was uphill trying to get out. Couldn't get any grip. Tried using the hedge / shoulder where there was some greenery. It either wanted to launch me into the hedge, slide backwards or turn the bike around.

Back tyre is coming to its end, I'm not that great at this game, and I shouldn't have gone in there.

Live and learn.

Lucky you're unharmed Tony. Scary when things like that happen.

Yeah, I was well out of my depth!
Having visions of walking out with no bike or doing myself some harm. I must have looked like I'd won the lotto when I came out the other end.  Stuff that was funny 40 years ago isn't quite so amusing now at 62.

I'd just done about 60 kilometres around the back of the Pechey forests, down 15 Mile Rd and back up White Mountain Rd and they were fine, 50 to 70kph and a lot of fun.... this bit wasn't !

Every days a school day, even for this dunce.

It's like glass that shit! I have a vivid memory of cruising along around 80km/h not far from there and all of a sudden finding myself skating along the ground with a dislocated shoulder looking up at my mates slipping and sliding whilst trying to avoid running me over  :rofl2:

shit happens so easily. yrs ago both of us out, looking for a biker cafe up near Imbil. I missed the turn into it, on a slippery road which kept getting narrower. Instead of being smart, stopping having a look , getting Wife off,i decided to turn in a side entrance i saw. about a metre drop onto a mud pile. Bike turned upside down on top of us. Fucking totally scary, prob most ive been. Somehow i got out, Wife was trapped under exhaust, no idea how but i lifted that bloody 14 off her, she rolled out, i uprighted the bike. We both got back on, it started, we rode to the cafe. It was closed anyway. RH mirror wrecked, no other damage, soft mud saved everything, Wifes burn scars healed, memories of that day still in my head. Not sure how i lifted over 200kg, ive tried to work that out a mllion times.

Went to the cafe.
Coffee and a bacon and egg roll.
Came home.

Dash said 14 C on the way out, 17 C on the way home.
Felt colder. I know it wasn't that cold as my hand feel it first and they were fine.  Cloudy, cool, bit of wind.  Roads were dry but I just wasn't feeling it.

I can stand the heat better than the cooler weather.
More so every year older I get.

It got me away from my log burner for a couple of hours.

147 K's / 91 miles.

(Yeah, I know 14 - 17 C isn't really cold)
