Small update.

789 bars now fitted & they feel a lot more comfy to sit on it with. Not ridden with them as the weather is crappy here today.

I think I'll leave the timing mod done for now, basically as I can't be bothered to turn it back to the original position. I'll see how much it continues to annoy me at low speed & might do it in the future.

My Bloo Thing got noticed by one of the photographers who wander around Squires on Sunday, he must have liked her to put four different pics up.

Not me in the background btw.

I have 789's on my B-King, Bandit 1200, Hayabusa and GSX1400.

I'm about 5-10" / 5-11" tall and 81kg. They just seem to put me in the right position, I like the amount of rise and the width. They have a nice feel without being too extreme.

Can't remember how many sets I've been through. At one point they were hard to find in AU and I ordered a couple of pairs from the UK for myself but sold them on.

Yeah my proper one will get fixed, I still want 250k miles out of her. It won't be too soon though as I'm struggling with motivation for anything currently and really should do my Bonnie first.

Those 789, cross bar just unbolts? No prob to use without it? So compared to 754 they straighten the wrists, seems a good idea to me.

Yeah the crossbar comes off. I've seen them sold without it at a lower price too.

So many places sell renthals & don't list the number, how do they expect you to know which ones you're buying?

Certainly worth the attention Hooli. You can be proud of what you've done there.  :onya:  :clapping:  :worshippy:  :notworthy:  :salute:  :hat:

Thanks, I'm nearly happy with it. Just a few minor bits left to do, it's nearly there.

Funny you say that, I sent them to a mate & she did. They do look a lot better without the blokes behind.

I've no idea how she did it. I might work in IT but I hate it & refuse to learn new stuff.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Hooli

I got caught by a photographer actually riding today, I think it's come out pretty well as I wasn't pushing on that much.

I do need to clean the underside of the bottom yoke though, I didn't bother when it was apart as I didn't think you could see it.
