That big hook thing that hangs off the back of a bulldozer, that's a ripper.   Jokes can also be rippers . . . :rofl2:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Blokes can be rippers too, as in "me best mate is a ripper bloke"... :rofl2:
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Came home today, out front of shed could hear really loud Harley getting closer. Next thing it comes around the corner, an old sports car with big v twin mounted on front. Old Mate was giving it full blast, he even had leather helmet on, gave me thumbs up. Made my day, not a common sight

Also a fart can be a ripper, "he let a ripper go"

UK mob will be scratching their heads. .

That's a Morgan 3 wheeler I think Grog. 2 at front n 1 driver at back. Slow things.

Morgans are the only trike I'd ever drive. Cause trikes are cars, no matter what some people pretend.

I'm sorry to hear that, I assume you can forgive her faults & still love her?

D.D.

On graders, dozers, drops etc rippers would look like this....

On a tractor, planting trees in lines, we'll use one like this...

We could use one like this although we don't need to. It's a ripper that is designed to feed poly water pipe in behind the blade. Buried water pipe in a single pass.

Some useless info for you.
Rippers are not cheap!
Huge lumps or heavy hard steel that wear out.
They are easily removed to change or repair.
When you park up the dozer, grader etc at the end of the day you drive them hard and deep into the ground before you lock up... or some f#cker will steal them !

Mate Mark used to build Grinnal Scorpions near Bewdley. BMW k-series motors. He had one of his own. I went in it a few times. It was fun for about 30 minutes then the novelty wore off for me.  I had a Grinnal Scorpion chassis for a while, not quite sure why, Mark supplied me with it and later came back saying some wanted to buy it for more money.

I don't hate the Scorpion, it just wasn't a good car or a good bike (obviously) and offered nothing I really wanted.

I saw the sun come up.

I wanted to get some miles in with the dog before I went out. Probably should have had another half hour in front of the log burner with another coffee. The first couple of K's were done at a pretty stready pace trying not to end up in the hedge or a ditch.

Crap photo. He was high up and I was trying hold on to the Demolition Dingo Devil Dog.

They're still going, building trikes to order but he's also an Indian and Royal Enfield dealership now.  :onya:

Haven't seen Mark in many many years. Last time I was at Heightington with a previous wife !

Two pics, 3 years apart to the day.

Wattle (the silver / yellow one) isn't great for most wildlife but it flowers for the insects and puts nitrogen in along with being a shade and windbreak. It works well as a pioneer plant for others later on.

Fence is 2.2m tall and sunk into the ground.  So far it's kept the Roo's, Wallabies, Echidna's, Wild dogs etc out. A big python got in but you can't make a large area snake proof. I guess a fox may climb it, but I have 3 "enthusiast" shooters on neighbouring properties who keep the dog and fox numbers down.
