Yesterday I went out around North Yorkshire, the Wolds I think. Over York direction & the nearest village, Wetwang, has a great chippy. I didn't take many pics but did see an interesting Triumph at Seaways.

After another go, at the electrics, I took the 14 out for a trial run.  :hat:

Did 75 miles and was just, starting to hope that I had made some, progress when everything went dead, again.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.  :cry2:

That does sound very frustrating. Tell ya what, I'll take it off your hands for £50 & that's doing you a favour...  :stir:

Only if you fix it and sell it back to me for a tenner.  :onya:

But I don't know anything about fixing 14s.

Impromptu spin to Tony's neck of the woods for coffee and a scone. Only 80km but it's the furthest the big orange one's been since it was a frame and motor for several months.

Probably the last chance I'll get for a while. In the middle of working on a project a full days drive from home we've decided now's a good time to move house  . Moving to a place with 330m2 of shed space makes it a little easier to accept though.

Looks like opposite the tyre fitters / soft drink shop. You probably went past my place.

Down to Helidon for breakfast at the pub, back up to Toowoomba with a long list of parts to order. A loop out the west side to burn some fuel so I have an empty tank as it's coming off to do some jobs.

B-King's 18 and 1/2 years old this week. Still stomps along, still corners and brakes great, still never fails to make me grin. When it was bought I was changing bikes quite regularly, but I never found a better replacement so it's still here.

Yep. I reckon I passed you near the Perseverance Dam turnoff actually.

I went out to find a cafe today, I was on the CBR1000, cos I cant tax the 1400 til the first of may, who new the reminder is only valid for a month and I would have lost all of April even tho I had paid.
The first place I tried was Halfpenny Green Airport, only to find the cafe was now a posh restaurant....So I buggered off from there, and ended up in Quatford. There used to be a great cafe here but it had to close.
Over the road is another one, but no sign of life, I went in anyway, to find them in the middle of a power cut.
Even so, they boiled some water and made me a coffee, just took a bit longer, I think they did it in a saucepan.

Dwain, You need to head down the road, towards Kidderminster. Go just past Alveley and on the right, is Poole Hall. That's where everybody goes now. It's a real, friendly place and the foods good, too.

The one stop, at Quatt has been closed since the beginning of last year.

WV15 6JD is the post code. Maybe, I will see you there, some time

Been to Clee hill today with my daughter and son in law, she has her test (final part) next week. But on my next trip out I will find that place, thanks MrGee. I should be on the 1400 as well.
