Front chain sprocket And Nut

Hi guy's, Maybe I'm havin a blonde moment as I cannot find part numbers for the front sprocket nut and the locking nut that is locked in place with the hex bolt. I had to resort to a lot of heat and impact driving to shift them as solid after bike being outside for over 10 years so they are now very worse for wear.

I think the UK guys use Robinsons Foundry for parts & numbers.  Never used them being down under . . .

Yeah, I thought of them and used Fowlers as they have the same online database but nothing came up. Maybe because these parts might be known as another name because they're awkward lol.

Sorry, can't tell you much about this nut. No pic or drawing available to me.

If I were asked what this nut is for: "It's for nothing good".

This nut must have emptied a full mega-sized bottle red locktite to secure the front sprocket nut. No go with heat and impact driver. No go with heat and breaker bar. Only after getting a long pipe as extension for the breaker bar I got the sucker off.

If I knew who the nut is, I'd make him drink a bottle of red lock-tide every day.

I also as Andre said did not post any pic's, that's a fair comment, if a bit harsh, I will come back to this thread with a pic of the piece that is not listed on any diagram, as I doubt my bike is that unique that it was the only one fitted with it mate.

Well I'm sorry if I offended you enough to make that over the top sarcastic reply mate, very helpful. For your information 12 years ago my 14 gave up on me the same time as I had a major nervous breakdown (CPTSD) from my time in the military, since then I have had countless different types of therapathies until I finally recovered enough to start restoring and fixing my bike, which helps in restoring my resilience and confidence too, and the fact that all humans are not that bad??.

I think I've just clicked what bit you mean after rereading your first post, it's the trigger for the speedo sensor.

Btw if you don't know already, stick these part numbers in https://japan.webike.net/ and wait a few extra days, it's all genuine parts & much cheaper for a lot of things, even with postage. I get everything within a 7-10days at most. Just don't use their search function as it's crap for anything not a part number.

As just one example, the domed chrome nut on the top of the steering stem is almost £52 here. It's £6 off them.

Second that, webike Japan works best if you already know the part number, they are way cheaper than our local suppliers.
