Don't know much about them. I liked the fit and it ticked the box's for being dirt bike type, priced OK, having a visor not goggles etc.

It was only after I got it home I realised it had a drop down sunglasses type internal lense too.

The back pack / rucksack shaped to fit the helmet that came with it is pretty well made too.

Pair of Keis 901 plug in heated gloves.  :onya:   :clapping:  Given up on battery packs, they simply don't stand-up to constant use.

Artevive ear plugs. Almost as good, as the advert claims and the best that I've used.  :onya:  :clapping:

New Shoei GT Air 3.  :onya:  :clapping:

Average is about £550. I bought my lid from Ireland at a discounted price from the visor shop

I'm looking for a new helmet. Shoei GT Air 3 is my preference. At between $1100 and $1500 they are a bit pricey. So why not buy a Shoei X15 from AliExpress for $207.80 or Shoei Z8 for $165.41, maybe a Shoei X- Spirit 3 for $171.41. Are these all fakes ? Interested in your thoughts.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

KiwiCol

I see they have DOT & ECE certification for the helmets, but guess they could also copy those stickers.  At that price point Col, you could buy 2, and test one to destruction in your workshop to see how it fares. :onya:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

It'll be fine, they're only to keep the wind & rain off right?  :whistling:

I have the GT Air II, nice lid, mine was around 850-900 AUD because I didn't get the fancy painted ones, just basic blue and black.  Does the GT Air III also have the Sena fitment spots? I like my Sena and would be shame to leave it on the shelf when changing to another helmet brand
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Shops must have a big mark up when they can discount so much.

KiwiCol

Agreed, and at $899 they won't be loosing dosh either, they'll still be making money on it.

I brought a set of bearing pullers, figured I'll need them at some stage, so may as well have them at hand when needed.   Prob only use them once before I pop off the perch. LOL.

I bought the Shoei GT Air with Sena compatibility, all up cost was around $1500 .. yikes .. I like the helmet, quiet and comfortable.. the Sena was useless .. sound was very treble and tinny and once the bike was moving the ability to accept calls was zero ... took the lot back and got a refund

These days I make do with a Shark & HJC

Tyres, helmets, oil, all in the can of worms section. I once bought beautiful Shoei. Superb black/silver colour. Fitted great in shop, paid the $800. Later found it pressed on top of head after a while, couldnt stand it. Sideways vision i didnt like either. I tried numerous things but just wasnt for me.I actually gave it away, grandaughters husband. I use LS2 nowdays, chinese but works for me. Good crash reviews, quality i cant fault.
