Been doing plenty of runs to Cambridge of late as dad's been in need of some assistance and support. Not easy watching your 91yo parent struggle.
It's been a good unwind to have an 80km ride home. Motorcycling has many therapeutic benefits
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Zoom-Zoom !   Not bad for a weekday in Winter.
Cool but not cold, dry and sunny.
Bike was stomping along, feels pretty strong, even compared to my B-King, Gen-3 or lighter Gen-1.
I'd guess it's probably the most powerful of the bunch.

About as much tech and rider aids as a GSX1400 but with 180hp.

Looks good too Tony. A Gen II 'Busa is what I'd like in my shed
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Gen-2 is the most powerful of the 3 models.
Early Gen-2's are a fraction lighter without all the ABS gubbins. Later Gen-2 did come with Brembo's though. Longest production run of the 3, lots of improvements over the Gen-1's without the complexity, cost and emmision spec of the Gen-3.
I originally bought this one for the drags, but it's a lot of fun for the road. Gen-3 is a better tourer or long ride bike but the Gen-2 is still very entertaining.

I thought it would be a poor version in the shadow of the Gen-3 but it's different enough to be its own bike.

Down to one car now, room in one side of shed. Amazing not to have to slide bike past car, reckon today was first time ever have ridden not reversed out. Noticed today and recently the biker nod or wave seems to have returned, been absent here a long time. Of course not from Hardly/Indian riders.

The nod/wave is common over here, but often the adventure bike riders don't bother.

Bit cool, but dry and sunny. Very little traffic.
A fun few hours, 2 coffees and 1 breakfast.

I applaud the work of the charity now associated with these trees... https://bluetreeproject.com.au/blue-tree-story/

There are now blue trees on every continent except Antarctica (no trees there).

Thanks for taking that photo Tony.

We have a suicide rate double our road toll here in New Zealand.
So much is spent on reducing road fatalities, suicide prevention not so much.
Good cause.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

I'm getting into the habit of stopping when I see one. When I share the pics a few folk have asked "what / why" and I'm happy to promote it.

Jalla's Cafe @ Woodford.
Seven of us left BP The Gap @ 8am a chilly 🥶 9 degrees. Over Mt.Mee to Woodford for fabulous breakfast and coffee.
Home via Kilcoy, Somerset Dam and the back of Mt.Glorious 20 degrees by then, beautiful clear blue winter skies.
Home to Mt.Cotton by 2pm for a hot cuppa ☕️☕️
GSXKING 3:^)
