Even in a simple thing as a steaks, there are always options:

Grain fed, corn fed, grass fed,
listened to classical music, got massaged, got fed beers...
Then beef, pork, chicken, aligator, tuna , cauliflower...blabla...
Then dry aged.....blabla
Then seasoned / dry rub / injected.. blabla
Then grill / kamado / pan / bbq / butter / fried in oil / cave man style....blabla

Just FYI, the 14 is my one and only daily ride. For the last 12/13 years it´s been my only bike and daily commuter here in a big city where a smaller bike would be "I´d be the weaker link on the road". With the 14 I´m not the weaker link.Great for a daily allrounder.

Good to hear from you Simon, pleased to say that I've had my current 14 for a couple of years now, but also admit to thinking about a Gs or an R1250 recently.

I eventually decided that my 14 is holding its money,whereas a used or new BMW would devalue at a rate that I'm too old to put up with.

It's the same with BMW cars, I bought a 330d 2 years ago for £20k and a year later the sharks offered me £13k as px for a £30k car !

It's unacceptable and like you I wasn't prepared to take the hit when there isn't anything wrong with my car anyway.

A low miler 14 is a good thing if it can be bought at the right price and I for one, would snatch your hands off if I could buy your bike at £3800 !
