Hi all,
My K7 currently has a dual oval can fitted, it's a bit on the quiet side so does anyone have a Yoshi race system or a can on it's own ?
I realise that they are akin to hens teeth but if you don't ask.....

Thanks chaps.

Suggestion for ya, get a Delkevic 30cm - 35cm end can, either carbon or stainless, they sound great & come with link pipe & all necessary bits to fit.

Agreed, baffle out makes it sound 'better' (subjectively) my Blue K6 had that setup, sounded ok.  My black K6 has the Delkevic carbon can & that's got a bit more 'character' shall we say.  It's not too loud when you're just riding along, but give it a handful & she soon finds her voice. I used to swap them between the bikes for a change.

Ok options for you
I have a gsx1400 yoshi fe end can end can that's slightly damaged so perfect for being cut down maybe 2' £75 +postage
Option 2 is I have a full akroprovic system for ready to go but that's £400 +postage .
Let me know if any use
I'm just outside of perth in Scotland
only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

Seth, Akra a bargain, over $3100 here, yours around $800, around $200 freight to Oz. Hmmmm
Is it in really good condition??

GSXKING

@Seth being very generous again as usual 👍🙏

You're not Scottish are you !!

Akra system here expensive as @Grog mentioned but unless you're prepared to change cams plus PC module and modify air box which all together aren't cheap probably $5k plus fitting etc you wouldn't notice any difference other than a race pipe like note.

Sorry to be a party pooper 💩💩👽🫣🫣

Thanks for your replies, personally I'm not keen on the Delke option, taking the baffles out of the dual oval seems like a good idea.
The Akro system is a nice thought and I'll explore that with Seth.

I guess I can search for "debaffling the dual oval".

No idea on dual oval de baffled but tri oval de baffled my favourite. Just sounds so good over 3k revs. I have 3 others, all ok but yoshi much deeper sound.

I have Yoshi titanium headers with Pipemasters stainless oval muffler and custom link pipe. Great note and with lots of back pressure to control the HP.

I also still have the original headers and twin mufflers which were removed before the bike was delivered to me sitting in the garage. Probably worth $50 now 😳

I'm going to argue there. We've had people post up dynos in the past showing around 10bhp more for just an Akra system plus you'll feel how much lighter the bike is.
Mine had an Akra, PC3 & custom map & gave 124bhp. No airbox mods or owt else. Used to outrun other 14s slightly right up to when it got nicked.

Yoshi headers (titanium) custom link pipe and Pipemaster oval stainless muffler.
