Hi all my biking started on Honda MT50 at 16 to get to work in Tottenham.  At 17 bought a Honda MTX125 which only got stollen after 3 months.  So out of money did not have bike till many cars one marraige and 3 kids later at 37.  Took full test and got myself a Yamaha R6, crached that only breaking hand, and then got Suzuki GSXR1000 K3, later added Suzuki DRZ400, then sold both to get Triumph Tiger Explorer XRT1200, lately added the Suzuki GSX1400 to get that speed and power thrill back (and the Suzuki Looks too) but now at 58 years young needed straight bars.  My riding has been in the UK, France, Luxemburg, Belgium and lately the Isle of Mann where I fell off the Triumph, 6cm split in my Diaphragm causing hiatus hernia hoping for Op soon.  So that is me in a great group of local lads now riding out when the sun shines all over the UK.

G'day Buzzard and welcome along. You should feel comfortable amongst this lot. Most of us have seen 60....I think, it's hard to remember that far back.

Good on you for changing your riding group.

I only ride solo, or with or or two sensible mates. I've seen enough dead bikers, and also don't want to be another bike riding statistic.

As they say, "There's old bikers, and bold bikers, but no old, bold bikers".

Roo, you're an inspiration for all us riders!  :hat:   I hope I'm still riding when I get to 75.
