Few years back my Mate, 2003 14,  thought hed fixed his pinholes, on way to GP in Melbourne, stopped to fill, hugest leak. New tank, accomodation, missed GP, waited ages, pretty much cost a fortune, was over $5g.Tank wasnt even correct for his bike.

Welcome to a wealth of knowledge and wit!!!, I am in the process of restoring my rusty (not so now) steed. I have just cleaned out a very rusty tank using electrolysis, pressure washer and to finish off a tank sealer called "slosh" which I highly recommend, it is made by Rustbuster and would sort your tank out mate. :onya:
Used to be known as Nomad many years ago when I was the chair in the Suzuki owners club if anyone still remembers me, it's been far too long. Have just built a mancave just for me and the 14 !!!
