Was pretty sure you figured filter change in. Just wanting to make 100% sure. In that case, filter change will be very comfortable compared to normal exhaust system.

Don't know much about this sensor, would it be advisable to periodically unscrew it anyway for a check, cleaning (supposed to be self-cleaning I think), and prevention that it doesn't seize? Asking for a friend 

Of course, very easy to remove, after exhaust pipe is removed
