NZ Trade Me advertising quite a few, much less than $1000, might be worth a look🤷

Horse

Will have a look ,lots of different types out there, there are cheap ones for half of that but not what I'm after Nuobell or equivalent that go up in 2 kg increments are at the moment pretty pricey, I think the freight to WA would probably kill it anyway
Thanks anyway

I brought a new Jacket & pants.  Something wrong with the sizing on these, in a Jacket I'm an 8XL & Pants a 7XL!  Big boned you understand . . . :rofl2: but least I got some new gear that doesn't constrict me as much as my old gear.

Also tried a K1600 on for size, yeah nice & a Road Glide Ultra - not so much, bloody heavy compared to our 14 or a BMW.  On the plus side, me & the Harley would weigh just over half a tonne!!!  :happy1:  :happy1:  :happy1:

The latest K1600 is getting some good reviews, still prefer my K1300GT though...
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

You get a Hardly Col, with your size imagine cost of compulsory tattoos required😂

GSXKING

Can I ask which brand of motorcycle clothing you chose @KiwiCol ?
I'm a big fan of RST stuff designed in UK for the more rotund riders. My RST boots are 5 seasons old and still 100% waterproof 👍✅💰
GSXKING 3:^)

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Nope, not buying a Harley.  The one I sat on was a newer model of one I was thinking about.  Felt like twice as heavy to get off the side stand as a 14.  Who needs that?  Believe it or not, it felt more cramped for me than the K16.  The salesman also said I fit the K16 better, & he said 'thats from a Harley salesman too'.   Think he was a bit surprised himself, as I was.  Dunno how the hell a Road-glide Ultra can feel cramped, but it did.  So that's gone.

The K1600 fits nice, but it's fairly well stone chipped all over, screen looks like it's covered in bugs, it's not, it's deep stone chipping.  Not for me.

The brand of gear I got was Dririder.  First because it's what I had before & second because it was the only one they had that fitted me, so no choice really.

I'd only used Dririder for textile light Summer jackets, but one day I was looking at Dririder leather jackets and the Mrs offered to pay so I ended up with one. It's been really good, even after a lot of use.

I'm not a big guy, just a not so pretty 5-11", slim with a bit of a gut, jacket fits great and the removable liner makes a huge difference over my other fixed liner leathers.

Certainly a brand I'd be happy to buy again.

The jacket I got is called Apex V (5)

Dririder winter jacket, Shark summer. Both very good. Winter comes with 2 liners, just too hot for here. Strangely Chris, i bought RST boots last year, just not my fit after 5 minutes. Money back and Eleveit which are brilliant. AMA Caboolture, top service.
