Remember Chris that in Nu Zilland rain is measured in metres, so a few mm doesn't even register.

We've had 20mm so far this month. Really could do with some more. I watch it on the radar but it never arrives here.
We are about 2,200 feet / 670m abound sea level and it just go's around us out here.
