My not yet fully awake brain made "Model patient, told to be back. We would really like to do some more cutting. Always a pleasure to have you here".

I rode to the pub with two of my bikes last night...

Met up with Nic who's fostering my Hornet to ride to the bike night/pub quiz. Our team won the quiz too, so was a good night all in all.

Haven't used the 14 much recently. Spent a bit of time in hospital and when I do ride I'm using the three 1340's most days. The 14 needs a few jobs doing, but I'll keep it for now, it's in the to-do queue with a few others. I do give it a wipe over and start it up so it's not completely abandoned.

Good luck with your recovery Roo  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

On Saturday I went to Auckland for the NZ Motorcycle Show. About a two and a half hour ride from Tauranga. Good turnout and some great bikes.
Great to see some old faces from my early motorcycling days. Plenty of blingy Harleys in there. Some guys are pretty clever when it comes to customizing, some of the painting was amazing. However as i have always said "if it don't go, chrome it !!"
I left the show in torrential rain for a rather damp ride home. My wet weather gear is excellent but my hands and feet were soaked within five minutes. The trip over the Kaimai's was unpleasant. Pitch black with a fogged visor and glasses. I tucked in behind a car with good bright tail lights.
The bride had the fire roaring when I got home.... very nice.
For me the star of any motorcycle show.

Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Hadn't  been out for weeks so whatever the forecast we went 40 miles to Greggs for a bacon roll- country roads there and back - farmers busy getting in produce so roads were muddy but enjoyed the ride  :)

The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

I wish the previous owner on my 14 hadn't for the same reason.

Sunday took the Bavarian Mistress for a 300km loop with BMWMCCWA to Vic Park, then to Gidgegannup via a roundabout looping run through Kalamunda, St Helena, Sawyers Valley, Mundaring Weir, coffee at Gidgegannup then home.

Felt bad for the 1400, so took her to work on Monday and home the long way. Runs sweet since replacing stps and tps.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

@Notty is your number plate personalised ?
Or you've applied a sticker ?
Maybe consider a fender extender 🤔🥸
My BMW has an adjustable rear one.

Notty.Think here not allowed to change/add anything on number plate.Thats because the mongrels would miss out on revenue from personalised plate. Ive no need to so not caring.

Hooli

Technically we can't add Welsh flags, or custom words at the base either. But if it's the right size & font then no-one seems to care as the cameras will pick it up for their donut fund.

After tank off, filter clean few days back, tank of BP98, up the mountain to test, tiny little bumpy roads, gotta be careful, not really 14 roads but i had fun.Revving so nicely, just open throttle and a rocket emerges👍
