I'd love this would take me back to my youth

They didn't look like that when you were young, everything was a lot skinnier
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Bumping this thread - let's have some fun - what are people lusting after today?

(oh having since ridden the 961 from my OP I'd remove that...)
Ottomans: 'Hippity hoppity, Vienna's our property"
...and then the Winged Hussars arrived.

GSXKING

I've had my eye on one of these GT's for some time, the reviews have always been good 👍

I rode the unfaired version some years ago and thought at the time it can't replace my GSX1400. Now I'm not so sure 🙀
GSXKING 3:^)
Chris
Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

grog

Chris, i also thought finally a good Suzuki. Spoke to a 10 th k owner. His thoughts, not mine.Great bike, seat is terrible, panniers a mission to remove sometimes, instruments invisible in full sun, basics that sort of put me off spending 20G

Hooli

I always quite like Ducati Scramblers when I see them, I'm sure they'd last about 10mins if you actually used it as a bike like I'd be likely too,

grog

Not sure i understand Hooli? My Mate had 2 scramblers,he liked them, i dont. Strangely he had 3 Monsters and thought Scramblers were better, hes gone now so cant ask im.

Hooli

I like the look & sound of them Grog, but I think being Italian they'd fall apart if used as much as I ride bikes. Italian stuff is for looking at & polishing, not riding.

They are about the only Duke I like, oddly they are the only one I know of that doesn't sound like the clutch is falling off too.

Cikik

Last pic of my 14, owned for 11yrs & 1st pic of my new to me bike.
Moto Guzzi V100.so far so good

Roo

Nice I suppose, I've reached an age in life that I can basically have any bike I want.
I'll have my GSX1400 thanks.

The oldish bod at 75yrs would love to have my GSXR1000 back again, but those things are too physical for me nowdays..
I don't try wheelies or lighting up the rear now.  lol.

Pic is me at 60yrs on my usual Sunday morning fang over the Rimutakas NZ.  (modified 1200 Bandit ).

grog

Same Roo, whatever i want, keep looking but havent found a 14 replacement, hard to match that magnificent motor. Smooth, grunty, reliable, economical, best looking motor, some of those new bike motors look crap, 14 is a work of art. IMO

Tally

I quite like the look of this, the Indian FTR 1200. Although the first thing I would do is remove that exhaust and that rear ugly thing that holds the reg plate and replace it with a stubby carbon Acro and a little tail tidy under the rear light. It would look much prettier.
