So today got more work on the blue/white yoshi bike and it was tome to seen if it started .
It fired right ip and sounds sweet but then what's all this smoke.
The upgraded oils line (rear single motor to head and cam link one) were absolutely chucking oil out .
So much for being bits for specialist companies that dont fit these will be put back to standard tomorrow .
Anyway after 5 years the yoshi bike lives kinda

Congrats on firing up and running sweet  :onya:

All gone well except those stupid oil lines. I reckon they spoil the look of a beautiful motor, so no loss. IMO only

Hooli

B/W & Yoshi, nothing will catch that!

No they are aftermarket ones and the copper washers are too small and they hit the block so don't fully tighten up .
I'll refit the standard ones and all will be good 👍

So now turned into a complete nightmare as I found washers that work perfectly so the oil lines are now refitted .
But the final part was refitting the Y pipe and like and idiot (asnj was relived I'd got everything else back together)
I dropped a bolt down the hole Minto the oil gallery below the Y fitting .
I'm hoping nightmare can remove the clutch basket and get to the oil gallery and flush the bolt out .
If jot it's a complete motor out and strip to get it .
Unfortunately the bolt is stainless so I can't use a magnet 🫣😢

If you have a strong enough magnet it could pick up the bolt, stainless has some ferrite components in it, e.g if its 306 stainless.  Feel for you mate, hope you get it sorted easily.
