Throttle is an on/off switch

Hi all, my rough running issue from my last post has changed and if you could help that would be great.

Around 2500rpm, if I roll off the throttle and then try to smoothly take up the throttle, it acts like an On/Off switch.

Below 2000rpm the throttle action is smooth, above 3000rpm the throttle action is smooth.
At a steady throttle opening at the same revs the bike runs smoothly.
Snatching at 2500rpm is another way to describe the problem.
The injectors have been cleaned and checked, the fuel tank has been drained, cleaned and the T bag filter replaced. The TPS has been checked, the throttle bodies have been sychronised, and the spark plugs and air filter have been replaced.
All pipes and hoses have been checked.
Any ideas?

Just had a read of your original post & it seems to be the same problem as described here again but written slightly differently?

Have you adjusted or replaced the TPS, if adjusted what have you set it to & have you also checked the STPS?

Off the top of my head I think the TPS is 1100Ohm & the STPS 800Ohm, its worth checking at both the big multi plug & each sensors plug, I found a difference of approx 100Ohm between the two locations (TPS read 100Ohm higher at multi plug & STPS 50Ohm higher at multi plug) If not replaced that may be a possibility as they have been known to fail and give similar symptoms. Also they can be a bit jerky if the throttle cables are not adjusted correctly

STPS can cause stumbling.  Also check thr rubber vac lines from each throttle body to the solenoid sitting on top of the tank rail. They can perish and let false air in.  Also have you removed the PAIRS system? If you have, check for air leaks around the cover plates and blocked off air pipes.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

My thoughts only, constant at 2 to 3 k revs, TPS id think. Think someone else had sim prob recently. Same every gear? Throttle in approx same position?

Thanks everyone for your help. I will check every thing again. The Pairs system has not been checked. I understand that can be removed easily, so I will do that.
Cheers
