It's not me who found a cheap pump. But I seem to recall it was from a Mistu car, but I know there are copies on ebay these days for a lot less than genuine. I think it's the same pump across GSXRs as well as our bikes.

The high pressure filter, search for Busa filters. That's what the cheap replacements are for but they fit our bikes fine. The only difference is two threaded inserts in the top that we don't use. I believe they support the fuel level sender on Busas.

Cheers Grog, quick check at MH: this is for the entire assembly, crazy money I agree.

I'm running the Quantum EFI pump attached to the oem hp filter, but with the bypass hole drilled, external 30micron cleanable filter.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Agreed that looks the same & you can see the two brass threaded inserts in that pic too.

Solves a big problem weve always had, for that money no more cleaning or modifying to external. Makes a joke of OEM price.I read all these posts of bike not running right, fuel supply is first step before anything else. After its correct, still no good, then start with other reasons. EFI systems , car, bike , whatever, demand flow and pressure. Sound like a know it all but was my job, R&D bloke for EFI company.

I didn't know you did that grog, sounds a lot more interesting that what I do.

Hooli was long time ago. Really good job, rotten bosses, everyday going home stinking of petrol, not at all glamorous but yeah, interesting. WE bought Mitsubishi fuel pumps that fit 14, just under $30. They were packaged as genuine parts, cheapest $100, up to $2g for Mercedes. Your searching for filter &tps just showed that. Most stuff we buy for our bikes has cheaper somewhere, helmets, gloves, parts etc. My helmet is $500 in Oz, i ordered same from China, more colour choice, 30 day delivery, $125. Wearing 3 yrs and perfect.I enjoy the search.

Well I best get on fleabay and start spending my money, I think I will try the external filter aswell as it does make a lot of sense. Tony.

I've ACCIDENTLY figured out why she was running lumpy and jerky on the throttle, I was about to take the tank off and clean it out when I thought about looking at the plugs again, when i took the cap off N01 it didn't feel right as in to loose so I put it on and it was popping back off time after time, so I looked at why this would be and it turned out that the rubber cover on the cap had moved down by 3mm and was stopping the plug cap from seating correctly. So I'm now going for a quick ride to see if it's made any difference to how she rides and results later. Tony.

Test ride over and she's way better, so I can only assume it's been that all along
