ECU Power?

@seth - yes mate - changing flasher relay (which I think is also the side stand relay and has some diodes in there) makes no difference.

@Hooli - bypassing ignition switch also makes no difference.

As before, Fuel pump relay has also been tried - but I don't have the spare at the moment so will try that again when I do.

Based on the symptoms, I'm leaning towards the ECU being the problem but the question that then arises is why does it behave differently in another bike? Very keen to understand in detail how it is powered and what components the path goes through to get there - I've tested which pins/wires have 12v going to them but without knowing which ones should have it doesn't help much...

The only other potential issue I can think of is the antenna - the recall was only for '05 (mine is '08), the parts list shows the alternative part number - but believe this would show FI light and code C42, not the symptoms I'm experiencing. I've no idea how I can test the antenna other than removing and fitting it to another bike.

Please keep suggestions coming - If all else fails I'll send the ECU away for test/repair and hope that fixes the issue.
I plan on living forever - so far, so good!
