University removes merit from hiring policy

I grew up originally in Koongamia which has an Aboriginal name and then moved to Kalgoorlie which also is an Aboriginal name. I don't have a problem naming things with Aboriginal names but I don't think it's necessary to change something that already has an established name, it's tokenism at best.

What's wrong with.... Te Whatu Ora, Kianga Ora, Waka Kotahi, Nga Pirihimana O Aotearoa, Oranga Tamariki, Te Tare Taake
Who you gonna ring ?
When you need health care,
When you chase up a tax refund
When you need the Police,
When you register your bike,
To report children at risk,
When you need emergency housing,
It's confusing !!
