A nice ride out between showers over the moors near Lancaster. An area known as "Quernmore" (Pronounced Kworma by the Locals)..
The tower is a well known land mark in the area.

Resurrecting the bird watching thread; did you see any boobies, tits or shags whilst birdwatching at the Port of Brisbane?
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Eric, Monday was public holiday, so many of your mentioned at local beaches, not many shags that i saw. Bulcock Beach is a local, take that as you want.  :)

Phill P

Saw two trail bikes whizzing around a roundabout with the right leg out motocross style, would have thought if it touches down and the boot grips it's snappy leg time 🤔

Crazy stuff. Ones that get me lately, kids on E scooters, up on one wheel, 60 kph, on one leg, other leg on same side as one standing on. Very talented, one bump and down the road they go. Really noticed because, went to open car door, here he came, pulled it shut, no noise except him abusing me.Close to disaster for both.

Today saw my first Dark blue 14. Was a ripper. He reckons hes selling so told him to mail me details so i can post on here. Nice bike.Had sim meeting with a bloke before, never heard from him.

Notty

Saw a 14 whiz by at high speed ( obviously a Blue/White ) near Dunham toll bridge outside Lincoln on Sunday.  :)

The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

I saw today, read actually. Chinese SUV. BYD U8. $150k Aus, with 4 electric motors and petrol, just on 1200BHP.Has madness overtaken?

VladTepes

HP and torque figures are useless as a comparison figure between electric and petrol cars.

Such big numbers have to be wound right down so yo get grip rather than wheelspin.

Plus with 4 electric motors of that delivery capability the range would be utterly shite.

great for a city sportscar but no use for much else IMHO.

Pffff, I can get 1300k - 1400k on a tank of diesel in the Merc!   :onya:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Until they recharge by solar only they'll always be recharged by good old coal powered electricity generators it's a world wide con job. These green cars are toxic to manufacture and zero recyclable. WTF 🤬

I've said for years that all electric cars should have solar roofs and bonnets, at least then the range could be made sensible (Obviously not in the UK  ).
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick
