Oh that's the price for a new frame and the reg I posted, a new frame being required because it's an age related plate, i.e. need a frame which is registered 2014 and onwards ... the reg is a relative bargain for only £499.

In the UK prices for private regs can go into the then £10k's to £100k's depending on how unique the plate is, the shorter the reg generally the more expensive it is ... for example, A1J1 is £95,599 ... current asking price for F1 is £10,000,000!!!

MYY13 and GSX1402 are great, but not available in the UK (according to the DVLA).

Also, called Robinsons Foundry this morning ... no new frames available, so that further kills my idea, unless I could find a dealer who just happens to have a new frame in stock!!

People want something to make them different, they usually have a lot of money and yes the amount of money they'll pay is beyond reasonable!!

I didn't think the text on the plate has to be related to the year of rego, that's a new one for me.

Always been the case, it makes it easier to identify a vehicles age when buying, you can an older but not a newer one.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Imagine the fun getting it registered with a SVA as you can be sure a 14 wouldn't pass the rules for registration these days so you'd have to do the 'kit car' route.
