Too much torque...

Sometimes a heap of torque is too much !

Well OK no, but sometimes it's applied at the wrong time.

I overcooked a take off from the lights on the commute in this morning.... inadvertently pulled a huge wheelie.  And there was a police car opposite me at the lights.  I'm very lucky he didn't pull  a U-turn and grab me...

I'll check when I get home...might have got it on video....

When do you have too much torque?? I dont know. At my first(and last) visit on dyno my 14 did 188nm@0.7 bar, now I use 0.8-0.9 bar(its hard to read gauge when you are so busy). I have had two problems with torque; second gear was too weak, I had to rebuild gearbox with Hayabusa race parts last winter, and second problem (if you are not careful) is  inadvertently wheelies, it can lift front wheel from 150 kmh if you open the throttle too quick.
