headlight not working

gday i have a question / problem
went out today for a ride up in the hills for a coffee and mate said your headlight isn't working checked it on hi beam and that didn't work either
got home pulled the globe out and the filaments were in place with no breakages so checked the fuses and they were all good put a meter on them also all good .
put the meter on the headlight plug and is power there so must be the globe then so i thought,
went up to repco bought a new globe and fitted .
still no headlight ...
any where else i need look next guys

If you have power, must be no earth. Looking from back of plug, earth is LHS. Run a wire to frame etc and check for light. If that works, your mission is to check earth wire, bad connection etc.
