I have just purchased some l.e.d indicators and a headlamp, fitting them this w/end I will hopefully show some before and after pictures let me know what you think.

If you are fitting LED indicators, I hope you've bought a replacement flasher relay to work with them, else the flash rate will be way too fast

Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Or you can use resistors with led indicators instead of a new relay.

Proteous

But you can pick up the relay for about 7quid and its a 10 second job to swap it out and 100 times less fiddly than adding a resistor to each corner.
So if i do stuff all all day and noone sees me do it.. Am i still a lazy git?

T 24

Yes. Relay is easier and quicker and not expensive. Resistors are cheaper. Its up to you what you want (or can) use. Both of them will work. I like the original indicators are the best...

I tried the resistor method when I fitted LED indies to mine as they were included..Didn't work!

LED compatible relay, fitted in seconds and sorted :onya:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

I had small LED indicators with restrictors and original relay in my bike when I bought it, and they worked ok, but they looked like " teen agers custom stuff", so I throw them to junk yard and bouht the original ones.

Don't worry I bought resistors to go with the indicators, both by rizoma

Honestly..You're far better off just fitting an LED compatible relay :onya:

Yes you are, much easier & less muckin around too, IMO
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Headlamp and resistors working lovely , well chuffed with them

Notty

Just be aware the resistors can get hot and should be kept away from any plastics  :smile2:
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off
