Here ya go Jake, I used the Intro section to describe the process - 

First, select the board you wish to make a new post into, in this case it's Introductions. Click on the word Introductions


On the top right (Circled) is the New Topic button, click on that


The blank form opens, fill in the topic header / subject, write your text & click Post.  Job done.
