Hello to one and all,i am 69 , i can take a joke and like a bit of banter.I have a 2003 1400 and have had it since 2004 when i bought it as a cosmetic write off with parts to repair it.Like i said in my first post it has been laid up 6 yr as it got too painful to ride due to accident at work which needed a knee operation. Then left hip started to get painful and ended up on waiting list for 3.5 yr and finally had the opp a year ago which was a success and now its pain free . during that time the only bike i could ride was my 1955 BSA  A10 . So here i am fettling the 14 with a view to enjoying riding it again. When its back in one piece and passes the MOT i will put up some pics unless i can find an old one to post.
Rest assured its in the Fastest colour scheme :whistling:
Some of you i may have met before as was a member on the old org site and went awol after Cozy died, and then the site went tits up and it seemed all the old members went on Facebook which i did not and still dont do.
I have met Barmy along time ago at an owners rally but others i knew cant find them in the members list unless they have changed user names Sheff,( Graham or Thumper )he lived in Scotland but i see a Thumper in Wales , may be he moved ?
Look forward to joining in and chatting
Oh and finally i live on the East Coast of Yorkshire in Hornsea.
Sorry if i bored you with a long winded post :coffeescreen: but its thundering and chucking it down and i am not getting the bike out in that to work on it so confined to confined to the puter  :hat:

Afternoon, we might have met at cozy's funeral then. I went in the car to give someone who's name I've forgotten a lift as he was on crutches at the time.

Hi , we may well have done . i went on 14 and remember riding through the church entrance along with many others at the request of his mother, then back to his favorite pub again the canal where his mum used to work......sad sad day !

Indeed, the peal of laughter as the coffin rolled off to the sound of fire by Arthur Brown was brilliant though.

Hi Dave55 & welcome aboard.  Barmy is here but Sheff isn't, quite a bit different to the previous iteration of the 1400 org, better in many ways IMO.

Cheers
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎
