So a bit of fun..............here's the scenario. You have a bog standard GSX1400 and can only make ONE modification to it.
What one mod would YOU choose as the best mod to make?
For me? Pazzo levers.
NOTE: Your answer does not have to be unique and can be the same as others. Just interested as to which mod YOU value most. I think the answers will be quite enlightening....
Now this isn't quite as easy as it first sounds :frustrated:
I'll go with braided brake lines.
Turn it into a left hand drive to use in North America!!
:boogie2:
Stan
A new exhaust, I like to hear my bikes.
Ermax under tray
Renthal 758 bars because the stock ones kill my wrists.
Oooh has to be Titanium Akrapovic system
Quick reaction throttle.
Heated grips.
Lowered Hagons - My last 14 had shortened Hagon Nitro's ( length as advised by Gnome ) with a lowered seat - wow what a difference having both feet flat on the ground - Handling wasn't affected :smile2:
one mod is very limiting. have to think back. best was modified seat, no doubt. can i have two? exhaust change a must. they were the start of the never ending.
turbo the sucker :happy1:

I'm going with braided lines too, good brakes seems a better choice before increasing the power.
Hate to say it, & not at all very exiting, & I've already done it, extended mirror arms, being a fat git, all I could see were my elbows 50mm longer & I can clearly see auntie plod. :embarrassed:
First thing I did which I do on all my bikes is braided brake lines from there onwards it never stops
double posted :boogie:
the bikes came with heated grips from the dealer
so my first mod would be my givi screen
:stir:

Think I'd go for a custom seat first.
Turbo.
Difficult question but I would go for the cock-pit fairing I got from skidmarx.
Gotta get rid of those hideous Bazooka cans...anything except those pig ugly things!!

Bob might have a 1550 or 1700, but he'll still have the std bazooka to go with his std brakes & suspension. That's gotta be a good thing. Yeah right.
Givi luggage.

The irony here is I have a standard can on mine!! Thought about changing it, just not got round to it. Don't want it too loud - but a bit more cackle would be nice.
Anyone know of a straight replacement that doesn't upset fueling etc & that isn't too loud?
