Hi Everyone, Back into biking again after an 8 year layoff. I have a mint condition, totally standard, low mileage GSX1400 arriving next Friday and can't wait. I have always wanted one of these bikes since owning a 1200 bandit which was awesome but never had the presence or looks of the 14. I will only ever be a dry weather rider and will spend more time cleaning and polishing than riding but it feels great to be finally getting back into the biking community.
Welcome Phil. Sounds like you have found yourself a nice bike.
Because you are only a dry weather rider l presume you live in the Southern Hemisphere.
Enjoy your new bike and being part of the forum
:welcome1:
To all things 1402
You've come to the right place
I hope you get out and enjoy your new bike when it arrives.
Gidday & welcome to the forum B.P.

Hi and welcome.
I am not scared of big people.
I think it is a nice change to look level or even up during a conversation :rofl2:
Hi and welcome BP. An 8 year lay-off? Isn`t that a criminal offence? Anyhow, enjoy your new `14. I too had a Bandit before my `14. A mint naked K3. Cracking bike, luvved it, but arrive anywhere on a `14 and everyone knows you`ve landed!
Welcome PHil !
welcome

Thank fuck for that, I just don't want to come across as being too un-PC, but I am assuming Big Phil is a bloke and not a trans neutral non descript thingy :whistling:
Poor Phil..... he"s only just arrived here, we do talk bikes sometimes.
Hi Guy's, thanks for all the welcome messages and friendly abuse 😂 which is much appreciated. I get called Big Phil because I was quite a large bar steward for many years but have thankfully slimed down a lot over the last few years. At the end of the day it's the easiest and least costly way to make your bike go faster! Can't wait for Friday and the arrival of my 14. I will post pictures in due course if I can work out how🤣
Good on ya BP.
