I made threads in PAIRS cover hose nipples and put screws with gasket glue in them. That's it.
All the options for removing or sealing off the PAIRS system are already covered in this thread - including the marble up the tube and sealing the standard covers with screws etc.

Marble works fine. It really is the quickest simplest version of disabling the PAIR system. Hose off, marble in, hose back on.
I've done it in the past to save clamping the hose to get an accurate A/F reading.

You just need to make the call, which members are most likely to be playing marbles, and which are more likely to have butt plugs! Maybe you already decided with that post?
:happy1:
Fair go, is that what that is? :whatever: Least I didn't 'Like' it as some have . . . :happy1:
My method was NOT covered in the mentioned thread!
Seems some simple but effective ideas are frowned on !
@Speedy1959 Please add your method to that thread :onya:
I am sure someone will start a thread soon on something that's been covered before. Usually some new info, tip, etc will come through that. Fills the forum with life. :smitten:
Thank you Andre..
My Previous bike to getting Sophie back was a Honda CB1300..
These photos will show the principal..
I re used the original Honda spring clips..
The silicon End caps I got frome here :

Obviously you will need different sizes.. PAIR valve cover, Air Box and Throttle body vacuum stub) etc..
The beauty of this system is that you do NOT disturb the original PAIR valve cover..
But you still clean up the top of the engine from all that clutter..
I am all in favor of simplicity !

Maybe all options for removing, but I have blocked my original PAIRS and added then one big "PAIRS" to down pipe after turbo and lambda sond..
Reason: Exhaust gas analyzer of MOT authorities will show "bull shit" when I'm feeding enough oxygen to exhaust pipe!
"I can't take it away, it's an original pollution prevent system" :stir:
I do like PAIRS system!
No emissions testing here.
Cats and PAIR's get binned.

No they are not Simon, I try to keep all the suggestions for mods etc relevant and in one place. Yes your idea was simple and if you read the other article optional approaches to blanking off the PAIRS system are referenced although on reflection, whilst the principles are the same, I agree a slightly different approach to yours.
We don't have annual MOT or emission testing here in Finland, but turbo "must be " marked in papers.
If I didn't make that modification MOT, I would have lost my register plate four times on the road.
They look like a right trio of NAZI Mother Fuc...ers
Bit unkind...... They are keeping the roads safer for YOU.
Well thats what we get told when they relieve us of our hard earned.
And remember they only fine the ones that can pay.
Over the weekend we had a van going along a straight road hit a bank and land through the roof of a double garage.
Two people will not be re-offending !!

A lad who was very near my work and on his H2 gave it a quick little burst.
Clear dry day, empty road, industrial area, no traffic or pedestrians.
A cop put the radar on him. 180kph in a 60 zone.
$1218 for speeding, $417 for an incorrectly mounted number plate,
6 month licence suspension and a loss of 8 demerit points.
Those H2's go OK but can be expensive to live with!
Bloody hell!! That's a huge fine. Best ya don't do 180 in a 60 zone. Are you allowed to let her rip on the Nullabor?
Happened to me on Mt.Glorious, no traffic, clear day. Copper said 153kmh in 70kmh zone. Took him 5 k's to catch me to stop. Same fine and automatic 6 months loss of licence. Cost me a lot of money that B-King
