& a couple of fried eggs? Spam Egg n chips. No good for you Seth. Best stick to a good single malt for breakfast.
cheers
I'll stick to my poached egg on wholemeal toast .
Fair enough too. Save the single malt breakfast for the weekend.
Might have to change my drink as i don't think rum is compatible with diabetes
I know nothing about diabetes, but at a guess, I'd say you're right. Maybe in moderation? Plenty on here who seem to know about this though.

A toast so huge that it makes for a whole meal and then it's not enough for you and you ad poached egg :whatever:
You Brits just crack me up with some of your verbal contraptions :rofl2: :whistling:
I would go with spam and eggs. Someone's endocrinologist and others would agree with me.

Hey Andre.... you Germans are not so far behind with the language ideosyncracies..... schlusselmeister?? Literally meaning master of the keys.... when what you really want to say is locksmith... :rofl2:
I'm sure there are many other fine examples... :stir:
I am sure there are plenty of examples but I think you are confusing something here. German for locksmith is Schlosser. Key Master, played by Rick Moranis in Ghostbuster was translated as Schlüsselmaster but no self-respecting German locksmith would call himself that :coffeescreen:
no wonder we're confused the english language is made up off 1/3 germanic a1/3 french and a 1/3 of god knows what .
and then we send it the other side of the world and the Australians and new Zealanders distilled it to its bare bones and don't even mention what the yanks have done with it then sending it back ruined via tv and films.
at least european languages are more or less as they've always been.
:stir:
First time in California I saw a "Restaurant" named Wienerschnitzel. I went in and ordered a Wienerschnitzel. No Wienerschnitzel to be had there. They just (ab)used the name :whatever: Never bought anything ever there. IDIOTS
years ago i was in an Irish bar in the south of the Czech Republic .the only thing irish about it were the name and a few pictures on the wall .
no irish staff, no irish/british beer , no irish food and no bicycles on the wall

That is true as you talk to
God in Spanish
lover in French
dog in German
However I prefer to swear in English but wait...
One of my favorite is SOB and that contains a reference to a dog. That must have something to do with the whatever percentage of Germanic in the language.
I think it's time for my 2nd Guinness. but 1st I ave to finish my coffee :coffeescreen:
