Ive a GTR 1400 as well as the GSX14 - my GTR needed tires last year nd i went for Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT's.  i was stunned at how well the bike felt straight away so i will be adding these to the GSX this year too.

really quite a marked difference in feel & confidence.  I've never really noticed tires make a difference until i tried the PR4 GTs.  100% recommend

ive used pirelli angel st /gt's for last few year with good grip and very good milages (12k front 8k rear) .
i look forward to your feed back on the RP4's
stoli to see what you think of them on a gsx1400

only a slightly modified gsx1400

I'll second the Michelin PR4's - great grip with those on a 14, bags of confidence and good wear rates

As Seth says though, many have also gone for the Angel's and rate them very highly

So whichever of those 2 makes you choose, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Hi
I just fitted Dunlop sportmax Q2s, weren't my first choice but the grip is great.
The front warms up very quick which I like.
Much firmer than the Bridgestones.
Better in the wet than I thought they would be too.

Loads of options and opinions out there, good luck making a choice!

Michelin PR4's - not sure about wet handling as only ride in the dry now I am retired !  :smile2:
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Kiwifruit

Standard Michelin PR4's, on my third set. Good in wet or dry.

Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

new michy power sound interesting. they wouldnt last but would be a fun couple of months. super sticky. angel gt, most amazing tyre ive ever had. said it all before. just like a trusted old mate.

VladTepes

I run PR4's I like them a lot.

Are there better tyres out there? Possibly, but without trying them all...

I think 99% of GSX1400 riders would be happy with PR4s as their tyre choice.

I'm putting Pirelli Angel ST's on mine in the summer. Gets good recommendations and the tread looks so cool.
