Added bonus is I could powder coat the tips in the Anthracite I've used on swing arm and other bits. Gonna stick it on and have a look first. I'll post noise vid at the weekend

I have to say I've bought them for the looks!

does anyone near you do ceramic coating as that can be black and handle the heat.

I agree - black. If you don't want to go the Ceramic route, try B&Q BBQ paint (seriously) it dries rock hard and gives a nice flat matt coat. Bugger to get off though if you change your mind!!!
