HMCC WA Nationals

The Nationals were held in Western Australia this year.

It's for Historic bikes and some moderns limited to a build year.

My son races and usually runs a Kawasaki Ninja 600 and Suzuki GSX R1100

The weather was lousy with rain over most of the weekend, being a budget racer his 600 was fitted with slicks, he still ended up mid field.

On the 1100 fitted with an old set of wets he produced two 1st and a 2nd but then stacked in a 4th race and the 5th was cancelled due to conditions.

Helicoptered out to Perth Hospital with concussion and kept overnight for observation and tests. He was back at work on the Tuesday.

He ended up being placed 2nd overall. Not the results he hoped for but considering the calibre of race bikes he was up against it's a good result. I'm a very proud Dad.
