Notty

Finding the 14 getting too heavy so decided to try this - 3 years old with 1200 miles - heated grips and a quick shifter - and its already been lower for my short legs -being delivered this week, so 14 will be going
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Kiwifruit

G'day Notty, that should keep the smile on your face. Been wondering where you were ?
Good looking bike
Interested in how it compares to the 14 as I'm likely to head down the adventure bike path in time. Enjoy
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Blubber

Nice.

Sounds like a smart move  :boogie:
Wreck-it Richard - one of the unDutchables

Hooli

I know a auld git (70s) with the 900 & thinks it's great.

You do realise you now can only ride to Costa & tell everyone you didn't want a GS like you see outside Starbucks?

KiwiCol

Gidday Notty, you're absence had been noted.  Admin expect a formal letter of explanation for the absence. :stir:  :whistling:

Great looking bike mate, and brand!  :onya:

So the 14 will go up for sale, geez n you with a shed full of lifetime spares as well.  Someone will get a deal alright.  Hooli might take some of your spares off your hands to help rebuild his.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Those Tiger Sports are cracking bikes @Notty think you are onto a winner there  :onya:  :onya:

Bet @Hooli wants dibs on the headlight, he may want the discs and shocks as well.

Oooh, seat, polished covers sound nice...
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

KiwiCol

We're emptying Nottys cave faster than he filled it. :happy1:

Seems the natural progression for GSX1400 riders, when they get too soft/old, is to a Trumpy.
Ottomans: 'Hippity hoppity, Vienna's our property"
...and then the Winged Hussars arrived.

That's nice !

Much as I love my DRZ and what it does well, I have been looking at "Adventure Bikes" that eat up the road better than a dual sport, but still do milder dirt roads.

I'm envious !

Torque arm, engine covers and rear light too.

What's the seat and crash bars look like?

I might have a job lot off you Notty.

Good luck with your new steed, I can only imagine that it will be a very different ride from the GSX.

I've known your name on this forum and its predecessor for many years, how long have you had the GSX? I bet it will be a wrench to let it go.

Pete.
