The fork caps and top adjusters in my K2 have seen better days and I've noticed a crack appearing in one of the said adjusters. They cost a fortune from Robinsons and not available from Webike or Impex in Japan. Part no. 51351 -42F00

What are my options for replacements? All advice welcomed.

I'd be tempted to risk an order from Webike anyway, a few of the things I ordered recently were also 'if the manufacturer has stock' and they all turned up.

Other than that, a breaker with a crashed 14 that's got ruined forks. Just luck to find one with such a thing though. I'm not sure if the later ones fit, they might but I seem to recall the locking nut under them is a different size so the damper rod might be a different size too.

As a more extreme answer, the complete later forks fit if you found a pair of those.

Thanks Hooli,

I did place an order as they are listed on webike and Impex but this was updated to say item is discontinued. I'm going to try a set of Kawasasaki ZRX adjusters and there seems to be plenty of those available.

I'll let you know the outcome.

Please do keep us in the loop on these as mine have seen better days
Thankfully we all like different things, and I like a modded GSX1400

Watching this with interest, the adjusters on my K3 are in need of replacement. If the Kwaka ones fit, that'd be a win, especially if they're easy to get.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Easily bought for XJR 1300 Yam, must be somewhere for 14. Piccy ones just on $100, saw some $65.Suzuki over $500 but n/a.

F.A.O. Kquaucker.
Rummaging around on the internet I found a company called ktech who do replacement adjusters for the 14, also although I cannot be 100% sure of this I think the top caps off a sv1000 are the same as the tube diameters are the same I believe, as I said I can't be 100% on it though.
I hope this helps. :onya: .

I've checked the part numbers, SV1000 are different. Doesn't mean they won't fit though as you're correct they're also 46mm forks.
