Newcomers

Glad I´ve got a new GSX1400, at least that´s what it seems to me, with all the newcomers introducing themselves. That´s good for us and the bike, keep the model rejuvenating. Well, mine is always in mint condition, have been asked if it´s new; by guys who are not fully informed on bikes anyway. How many of you use it as a daily commuter like I do ?

I do around 85kms round trip home to work and back, 4-5 days per week. 

Mine definitely looks not new but it cleans up quite well, if I can be arsed.

60kms round trip, two to three times a week (if it's not raining or frosty).

Mine has seen at the most 2-3 drops of rain and no salt at all since she has been in my posession. My previous 14, also a K2, had seen all available weather conditions. Was a daily commuter and I used her to travel while on the job. She was sold to Spain, where I hope she is still going strong and enjoying the sunshine.

How many of you use it as a daily commuter like I do ?

My first one was my main transport for 15 years or so, hence it's sat on 183k miles & still ran sweet as a nut pre-theft.
