Today turned 70. No big deal really. I can remember turning 16, Learner approved on my Ariel Red Hunter. First fuel stop then, leant down to change from reserve, spark plug lead really a shock. So many rides until today, motorbikes are a beautiful obsession. Memories that fill my head today , best part of my life.

Happy belated 70th Greg. Most of my long term friends involve connections through motorcycling.
Wonderful memories of travels on two wheels.

4 wheels move the body
2 wheels move the soul
1 wheel moves the bowels

From one 70 year old to another a very Happy Birthday @grog - indeed I agree with you many very happy memories and mates made during my lifetime, some of whom are on here as members and whom I had the great pleasure to meet when I visited both Australia and NZ in 2017/18.

May you have very many more happy motorcycling years!
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Happy Birthday Grog !

I'm catching you up , 69 end of October ... I went to Daytona in Ruislip today, the place I bought my first bike, a Kwacker Kh250 in 1973.

I looked at the bikes thinking "now what bike does an old boy ride?"

Enjoy your seventies !

Of course the answer is a Gsx14 ......

And im sure the green Kwaka on four wheels is still faster than the black 14 hiding in the background....
