There's this part for which I don't know the purpose of that came with the Yoshi exhaust I just got. Does any of you know what it's for?

I don't know as I've never had a full Yoshi system, but my guess would be it goes under the engine where the collector would normally be, reckon the bolt holes don't line up & this is the 'fix'?

There will be members that know for sure though.

Not sure, but could it be a hanger bracket to support the end can off the right rear footpeg?  My Akra has only the one support there, and at the headers where the springs hold the downpipes to the head.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

My first thought as well, but the holes are too big for the footpeg bolt, and on every Yoshi system I've seen the end can clamp mounts directly to the footpeg bolt without a hanger.

The only thing I think that that part may be for is as an extension which is bolted onto the RH rear hanger (where the standard exhaust bolts to) when you mount the Yoshi Cyclone. Maybe someone who has a Yoshi Cyclone could advise? I'm thinking that the hanger on the exhaust maybe doesn't align with the rear (std) footrest hanger, hence you need that extension part.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I can't mount it yet as it didn't come with an end can clamp so I'm now waiting for one to arrive.

Also, what about the main stand? Will I have to remove it? The exhaust system didn't come with any sort of alternative stopper.

Edit: Yeah, I guess so after further inspection, or I'll simply have to get some sort of after market stopper.

Indeed, same as with an Akra, the mainstand will have to come off

I contacted the seller (don't know why I didn't do that to begin with) and apparently the item is not part of the Yoshi kit, but it was used by someone as some of you guys suggested, to align the pipe with the footrest hanger.
