Quote from: Horse on Thursday, 04 September  2025, 12:23 AMTalking of parts that might go away was keen on getting a hugger, just looking for opinions from anyone that's got one as to the quality of the powerbronze or pyramid am keen to keep the original chain guard thanks in advance,
I removed my carbon pyramid hugger and fitted a powerbronze one, found the brackets rivnut on my new hugger fouled my aftermarket chainguard slightly, standard may be OK. Could not get the hugger level, was in contact with powerbronze and they said the brackets were correct. I personally believe they sent the wrong hugger, it was sent back with a full refund. Purchased a white pyramid hugger and all was fitted in 20 min, very pleased with it.
Great info thanks for the feedback

Some pics, finish is good too
Looks Good may have to invest in one, how is it affixed?

A strap fits around the front of the swinging arm and also bolts to the rear bolt the holds the brake line bracket.

The picture you see is the old carbon effect one, due to pyramid using Allen headed bolts which filled with years of crud I was unable to get the bracket off so I had to angle grinder the bracket off. Use normal hex bolts on the bracket and the supplied Allen head bolts to hold the hugger on.

One thing that isn't available is the Renntec crash bars in chrome, only black now available.

Chain guard is aftermarket and was on the bike when I purchased it, haven't seen anything else quite like it, which is a shame because all the others are not polished that I've seen. :smitten:
