Spam stats and legit traffic

For those interested, we use a service called cleantalk. Worth every cent of $25.45/year.

For the period Jan 13 2025 - Jan 21 2025 (just one week) it blocked 7 spam signups and a staggering 539 spam attempts. 

For our small forum that'd be pretty crippling if we had to deal with that manually!

Where are these spammers coming from? Well for that week there's a surprise - in order from most to least:
New Zealand, Venezuela, Ukraine, India, China.

(I suspect Russia or similar is routing traffic via NZ, but then again those Kiwis are a dodgy lot    )


The top legit traffic for the week - again in order:
Australia, Finland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Croatia
